College Baseball Classic
Congratulations to the Gulf Coast State College on winning the 2024 Visit Panama City Beach College Baseball Classic championship!
The Panama City Beach College Baseball Classic will be taking place January 31 - February 2, 2025, and features the best programs in National Junior College in a 16-team tournament. Hosted by Gulf Coast State College and Publix Sports Park, the tournament will feature some of the top Junior College baseball teams in the nation.
The sixteen-team bracket will start Friday January 31, with a Championship game February 2; tickets are available at $15 per day or $35 for the tournament. To purchase tickets now click here. All games will take place at the Publix Sports Park managed by Sports Facility Management. The largest baseball scouting organization Perfect Game USA will serve as the official scouting and media coverage partner for the event. PerfectGame.TV will produce multiple games over the weekend with longtime MLB announcers Daron Sutton and Steve Phillips leading the live streaming coverage. Perfect Game's JUCO team of Blaine Peterson and Troy Sutherland will lead the scouting coverage on PerfectGame.org and social media as well.
Many Major League Baseball and D1 College scouts will be in attendance as these NJCAA programs have produced some of the best players in the Nation. An MVP of the event will be named, in honor of Legendary 324 game winner Hall of Famer Don Sutton, who pitched at Gulf Coast State College.
